This is where you set up how the app calculates your pay. Enter your pay rate and set rules for things like overtime.
You can also save a backup of your data (Import/Export) or clear your work history from this page.
How Your Pay Is Calculated (Time Rounding)
In the Settings, you can choose to round your work time. This is common in many jobs. The app follows a specific rule to make sure you're paid for full blocks of time.
The rule is:
Clock In Time: is rounded UP to the next block.
Clock Out Time: is rounded DOWN to the last finished block.
For example, if you have rounding set to 15 minutes:
You clock in at 10:12 AM. Your paid time starts at the next block, which is 10:15 AM.
You clock out at 10:50 AM. Your paid time ends at the last block you finished, which was 10:45 AM.
The result: Even though you were there for 38 minutes, you get paid for the time between 10:15 and 10:45, which is 30 minutes.
This is calculated for every single work session before overtime is added.
